Die Rolle: Wir suchen eine:n Principal Product Manager:in (AI), der/die unsere AI‑Transformation End‑to‑End vorantreibt. Du gestaltest die AI‑Strategie, verbindest starke interne Datenkompetenzen mit messbaren Geschäftsergebnissen und baust Plattform‑ und Produkterlebnisse, die marktplatzweit skalieren. Du bist Teil des Data‑Teams und arbeitest funktionsübergreifend mit Product, Engineering, Design, Operations, den Growth‑Teams, Legal und Security zusammen, um AI‑Features zu liefern, die Kundenerlebnis, Wachstum, Sicherheit und operative Effizienz verbessern.

  • AI-Strategie und Roadmap führen: Definiere und verantworte unsere AI‑Strategie im Einklang mit den Unternehmenszielen; identifiziere die wirkungsvollsten Initiativen für Kund:innen und interne Workflows und leite daraus Roadmaps ab.
  • Enablement und Kultur: Skaliere AI‑Enablement im gesamten Unternehmen. Schule die Teams in AI‑Best Practices, führe Workshops durch und fördere den Austausch zwischen den Teams.
  • Experimentieren und Messen: Definiere klare Erfolgskennzahlen und führe belastbare Evaluierungen, Monitoring sowie A/B‑Tests durch.
  • AI‑Initiativen teamübergreifend koordinieren: Etabliere gemeinsame AI‑Bausteine (z. B. Tool‑Landschaft, Prompt-/Wissensmanagement, Evaluations‑Framework). Erstelle ein internes „AI‑Playbook“ und wiederverwendbare Komponenten, um Doppelarbeit zu vermeiden.
  • AI‑Produkte entwickeln: Unterstütze Teams beim Aufbau von AI‑Produkten und entwickle selbst AI‑Produkte und Prototypen – auf Basis der von dir mitgestalteten Tool‑Landschaft.
  • Prozesse rund um AI neu denken: Gestalte Geschäftsprozesse als AI‑gestützte Augmentation statt als einmalige Automatisierung; dokumentiere Erkenntnisse und skaliere sie bereichsübergreifend.
  • Hohe Sichtbarkeit und Einfluss: Präsentiere Strategie und Fortschritt dem Führungsteam; sorge für Alignment und sichere die notwendigen Ressourcen.
Was Dich auszeichnet
  • Erfahrung: 5+ Jahre Berufserfahrung im Produktmanagement (oder in angrenzenden Bereichen), idealerweise mit Fokus auf Daten- oder Machine‑Learning‑Produkten. Nachweisliche Erfolge beim End‑to‑End‑Shipping von AI/ML‑Features mit messbarem Business‑Impact.
  • Technische Tiefe: Fundiertes Verständnis von LLMs, Machine Learning, Dateninfrastruktur und Analytics. Optimalerweise bist du in einer sehr technischen Rolle (z. B. Machine‑Learning‑Engineer) gestartet und inzwischen in eine stärker produkt- oder projektfokussierte Rolle gewechselt (andere Karrierepfade sind ebenfalls willkommen).
  • Mindset & Kommunikation: Ausgeprägte Umsetzungsorientierung (Bias for action), hohe Ownership, Hilfsbereitschaft, Fähigkeit, Komplexes verständlich zu erklären; fließend in Deutsch und Englisch.

The role: We’re looking for a Principal Product Manager AI to drive our AI transformation end-to-end. You’ll shape the AI strategy, connect strong in-house data capabilities with real business outcomes, and build platform and product experiences that scale across the marketplace. You will be part of the data team and work cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Design, Operations, Growth teams, Legal, and Security to ship AI features that improve customer experience, growth, safety, and operational efficiency.
What you can expect
  • Lead AI strategy and roadmap: Define and own our AI strategy aligned with company goals; identify highest-impact bets for customers and internal workflows and shape road maps accordingly.
  • Enablement and culture: Scale AI enablement across the company. Educate teams on AI best practices; run workshops and foster exchange between teams.
  • Experimentation and measurement: Set clear success metrics and run robust evaluations, monitoring and A/B tests.
  • Coordinate AI efforts across teams: Establish shared AI building blocks (e.g., tool landscape, prompt/knowledge management, evaluation framework). Create an internal “AI playbook” and reusable components to avoid duplicate work.
  • Build AI products: Help teams build AI products and build AI products and prototypes yourself, using the tool landscape which you shape.
  • Process redesign around AI: Re-imagine business processes around AI augmentation rather than one-off automation; document and scale learnings across units.
  • High visibility and influence: Present strategy and progress to leadership; secure alignment and resources.
What sets you apart
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in product management (or adjacent), optimally revolving around data or machine learning products. Proven track record shipping AI/ML features end-to-end with measurable business impact.
  • Technical depth: Strong understanding of LLMs, Machine Learning, Data Infrastructure and Analytics. Optimally, you started your career in a very technical role (e.g.machine learning engineer) and have now made the transition to a more product management or project focused role (but other career paths are also fine).
  • Mindset & Communication: Bias for action, high ownership, helpfulness, capability to explain complicated things in an understandable way, fluent in German and English
