Als Entwickler:in im Bereich „maschinelles Lernen“ sorgst du dafür, dass maschinelle Lernverfahren bei Chrono24 in der Praxis der Softwareentwicklung angewandt werden. Dabei kannst du sowohl neue Methoden aus der Forschung als auch bewährte Techniken im skalierbaren Praxiseinsatz anwenden. Mit deiner Hilfe sehen Nutzer und Nutzerinnen relevantere Produkte, steigt der Erfolg von unseren Händlern, arbeiten unsere Teams effizienter und bleibt Chrono24 ein sicherer Marktplatz für alle.
Darauf kannst Du dich freuen
  • Als Teil des agilen Data Science/ML Teams bist du für die Softwareentwicklung rund um das Thema „maschinelles Lernen“ zuständig.
  • Dich erwartet eine breite Auswahl an Themenfeldern, wie Recommender Systems, intelligente Suche, Bild- und Text-Klassifikation oder Time Series Forecasting. Dabei setzen wir auf sowohl auf klassische Machine Learning Ansätze, als auch auf Deep Learning und Generative AI.
  • Du hast die Möglichkeit bei der Realisierung unserer datengetriebenen Projekte und deren Operationalisierung, auf Basis von modernen ML-Ops Konzepten, mitzugestalten; on-premise und in der Cloud.
  • Große Datentöpfe eines weltweiten Onlinemarkplatzes mit über 350.000 Nutzern täglich, die darauf warten weiter erforscht zu werden.
Was Dich auszeichnet
  • Du kennst dich mit Python Frameworks aus dem Bereich des maschinellen Lernens (z.B.sci-kitlearn, pandas, pytorch/tensorflow) aus und bist darüber hinaus mit SQL und objektorientierter Programmierung vertraut.
  • CNN, NLP und SVM sind für dich keine Fremdwörter.
  • Idealerweise hast du über theoretische Kenntnisse hinaus schon maschinelle Lernverfahren im Produktivumfeld betrieben. Nice-To-Have: Docker, CI/CD, AWS, Snowflake.
  • Du hast Freude am eigenverantwortlichen Arbeiten, Prototyping und am wertstiftenden Einsatz von künstlicher Intelligenz.
  • Proaktives Mitdenken, Teamfähigkeit und eigenmotiviertes Handeln zeichnen Dich aus.
  • Du bist noch kein Experte für Luxusuhren? Keine Sorge, wir bringen Dir alles Wissenswerte bei.

About
As a developer in the field of machine learning, you ensure that ML techniques are applied in day-to-day software development at Chrono24. We offer you the opportunity to combine modern approaches with the rich data of a global marketplace. You’ll apply both cutting-edge methods from research and proven techniques at production scale. With your help, users will see more relevant products, our merchants will be more successful, our teams will work more efficiently, and Chrono24 will remain a safe marketplace for everyone.
What you can expect
  • As part of the agile Data Science/ML team, you’ll be responsible for software development around machine learning.
  • You can expect a broad range of topics such as recommender systems, intelligent search, image and text classification, and time-series forecasting. We use both classical machine learning approaches as well as deep learning and generative AI.
  • You’ll have the opportunity to help shape the implementation and operationalization of our data-driven projects based on modern MLOps concepts, both on-premise and in the cloud.
  • Large datasets from a global online marketplace with over 350,000 daily users, waiting to be explored further.
What sets you apart
  • You’re familiar with Python machine learning frameworks (e.g., scikit-learn, pandas, PyTorch/TensorFlow) and are also comfortable with SQL and object-oriented programming.
  • CNNs, NLP, and SVMs are familiar territory for you.
  • Ideally, beyond theoretical knowledge, you’ve already run machine learning systems in production. Nice to have: Docker, CI/CD, AWS, Snowflake.
  • You enjoy working autonomously, prototyping, and applying AI to create real value.
